Bill Buxton.... Great customer service

Bill is a top notch guy !!! I had a small problem with my B&T knife he made for me earlier this month . The problem was a sheath scratching the brass guard ( not to badly but it bothered me ) , Bill made a new sheath , completely refinished the guard , blade etc. and sent $10.00 back to cover my shipping cost . I consider this a very high level of service and to top it all he did it from Friday afternoon when he got the knife to Monday morning . I've said it before and here goes again : I buy a knife from a knifesmith as much for his /her character as the knife itself . Obviously Bill is a maker out to please his customers .

I have to add my .02 cents. I asked Bill to make me a knife. Yes, a very special knife. Why is it special? Because he is making it JUST for me.

Is it any different than any of the other knives he makes? I suspect it will be nicer than the last, and just sparkling with a edge that looks like a trillium cut diamond.

Bill takes the time to let me know that I am NOT forgotten. This is the kind of maker that I truly believe spends time here on BF. I shall never commission a maker who is NOT. There is just something very special about folks like Bill Buxton.

I have two more knives being made, and I am not going to name the makers. They know who they are, and I assure you that everyone on BF knows who they are. They are ALL very special people.

I never get a chance to say THANK-YOU as those words just look shallow on a computer monitor. But to Bill and all the Dedicated Makers on BF, I thank you and Barbara CRINGES at the mention of your name!!!!!
