After reading through all the old forums and researching tomahawks, I decided that I needed a user hawk. The best one that fit my needs turned out to be a Bill Buxton hawk made from an old rail road spike. (quite a cool hawk)
The thread was about a year old and no other mention of this type of thing was around, but I decided to shoot Bill a mail and see if he would be willing to make another.
He emailed me back the same day and we exchanged a few mails getting the details down. 2 weeks later, I have the hawk in my hand.
He is a pleasure to deal with. Polite, friendly, fast, everything I could want from a custom maker. This was my first purchase of a custom and it was a pleasure from start to end.
The hawk and the accompanying knife are great craftsmanship, and what I consider an excellent value as well.
I highly recommend Bill, and I will defiantly be ordering more from him in the future.
