Let me know what you think when you get it, I really like the looks and specs.

Will do. No tree chopping in the cards though. :D

If I like it I may also get the HB 02 with the 3" blade and only 3 ounces. Always handy in L.A.

I have an HB 02. Great little knife. Easily one of my top ten folders.
I also have Fantoni Hide folder. very well built and solid. Not a fast opener though. Strongest backspring on a lockback that I've ever felt.

My Fantoni HB 01 with a 4.1" blade came in. Kind of stiff so I need to open / close it a few times. To flip you really need to snap your wrist until it lossens up but even then remember it's not a true flipper. Great fit & finish with tight tolerances. Very well-built, robust and extremely sharp blade. It's a little beefier than some of the comparable ones and I took a picture of others with an approximately 4" blade for comparison. From top to bottom: Benchmade 810BK Contego (CPM-M4), Spyderco Military (CF/M390), Zero Tolerance 0200KW (154CM), MicroTech Socom Elite (S35-VN) and Fantoni HB 01 (CPM-S30V).

Doesn't your T-3 have a LAWKS? Mine does. Normally I do not use them. But on a knife this large, you bet I do. I love my T-3, one of the best knives I own.
Nope, no LAWKS on mine. I believe mine is an original version (before they came out with the FRN handled model) so perhaps that's why. I do wish that mine had the LAWKS though as that might make a big difference. Other than the issues I described I was very impressed with the knife (right up until I discovered those issues). The price and the fact that the rest of the knife seemed to be of very high quality only made the knife all the more disappointing.

Of course, the knife is still usable as a cutting tool, but it just doesn't offer the same level of satisfaction and piece-of-mind that a folder with a rock-solid lockup provides.

I seem to recall buying mine the first year they became available. Mine has the linen micarta scales and titanium frame, not the steel and FRN "junk". ;-)
I thought all the T-3's had the LAWKS. I don't think the T-1 and T-2 had it. Is yours one of the smaller ones?
T-1 = 3.2 blade
T-2 = 4.0 blade
T-3 = 4.75 blade

Got to guess yous is a smaller one.

Here are a T-1 and a T-3 for size comparison. Wish I had bought a T-2 when they were available. The T-2 sits squarely in the middle of these. The LAWKS is the button behind the thumb stud. It's the best application of that feature I've ever seen or handled. And the only one I really use on a knife, due to it's huge size.

Nope, mine is the LARGE one (4.75" blade, micarta handles, titanium liners and back spacers). I was going through a BIG folder faze at the time.

I have the T2 in micarta and the T1 in g10. While I think the T2 is one of the best large folders I ve acquired, the T1 is about the best ergonomic small blade I ve ever seen. The T1 has a great blade to handle ratio, very solid lock up with good blade centering, and supposedly a good heat on the s30v. The T1 was a real sleeper.

I'm loving the Fantoni HB 01. The stiffness is going away. This thing is an over-built beast with a 4.1" blade. I'm now seriously thinking of the Fantoni HB 02 with a 3.1" blade and weighing in at just 3 ounces! That way I can use one weekdays and the other on weekends.

I have all 3, nothing compares to the t-3 within that group. the t1 and t2 are not in the same class.

I am seeking a Baretta Harsey . Or any of the harseys above , I just like them, wth ?
