Does anyone know him? I recently bought an ESEE-4 CP S and though it hasn't been marked 'shipped' on eBay, he messaged and said ;

Sir,
That knife was shipped to you same day as your order...you should have it by now.I cannot give you a track #... I am answering this eMail from hospital bed, I had prostate surgery 2 days ago...hope you understand my situation.

Can anyone confirm if this is true? I haven't received my knife yet, but I don't want to be an asshole about it. (lol) Just worried it'll never reach my doorstep.
 
I've had a number of dealings with Bill over the years and found him to be completely reliable, i'm sure he's telling you the truth and will make it right as soon as possible.
 
Give it a bit more time.

That's why this is a great company. Too bad many more companies don't stand behind their product and dealers like you guys.
 
If we have a dealer listed on our site and you ever get screwed out of a knife and the dealer doesn't resolve it, then ESEE will. No problem. That's the reason we suggest buying from the dealers listed on our web site.
 
I don't know Bill but Cumberland is on my preferred list when I am knife shopping.

No, in all honesty you are not a fool. You gave your hard earned money to a dealer. And while we all love Bill Horn his problems should not be your problems. You have every right to be concerned. But with all that said, rest assured Bill if first class and you will be taken care of.
 
Another +1 for Bill. I have dealt with him before and spoke with him on the phone and he is a stand up guy.
 
I purchased my RC-3 from him and had a bit of email conversation with him. First class service!
