Bill Moran Fixed Blade

I am considering buying this fixed blade. Any feedback would be great. How's VG10 steel?

I have had one of the original Morans for about two years now. It has become my favourite camp knife since I prefer a smaller blade for general camping chores. Vg 10 steel is an excellent performer. Holds an edge very well indeed and it has never shown any rust at all. I am just waiting for our dealers up here to start selling the drop point version and I will take it deer hunting next fall.

I just received the drop point versions for stock and couldn't help myself. There is now one in my own users pile.The sheath and teklock belt loop are superb.
I find the VG10 steel more than adequate for any job.

Well whoat do you know. Our largest local dealer had a drop point Moran in stock last night. he no longer has it...I do. I love it. This will displace my CS master hunter as my new #1 hunting knife.

Both the BLADE rocks!! You should check it out for its great user-friendliness and price which is made affordable!!!
