A sale I may regret as this is a special slipjoint. Even by Bill's own high standards this is superb work from the master.

Jigged Bone trapper with filework purchased last year from George Levinson at WindyCity. Fresh from Bill when I purchased it, the knife is still in mint condition. This slip joint comes with a superb brown textured leather pouch handmade by Jan Mason in England as shown in the final pic (brown pouch)

Here is the info from WindyCity Knives:

This large slip joint folder features a CPM-154 steel trapper-shaped blade, 416 stainless steel front and rear bolsters, pins, and liners, and file-worked back-spacer and blade spine. The scales are beautiful amber jigged bone, and there is an inlaid large oval shield on one side. Bill put a lanyard hole on the rear bolster, and included a leather braided lanyard. The knife features a half-stop, locks up tight with no blade play, and the blade seating is perfect. Nice large nail nick, with a firm yet easy pull. Great walk-and-talk from the master!
