I got this massive beast in 5160 steel from Bill at Blade West this year and it's been in my safe ever since. If ol' Nessmuk had one of these, he could've left his axe at home. ;) :D But I bet Mr G.W. Sears would have enjoyed packing this fine blade along on his Adirondack adventures.

This knife bears one of Bill's slightly toothy edges that make his wares great cutters. Those of you who have handled Bill's blades know what I'm talking about. It's substantial weight, nose-heavy balance, and fine edge all well executed in high-carbon steel will make this a dream chopper. But I'm not likely to use it, given that I'm still trying to damage my Busses. So let's get this Siegle beast to a home where it can perform the outdoors chores it was born to handle.

Steel: 5160, 1/4" thick, differentially hardened, faint hamon can be seen when angled just right
OAL: 15-3/8"
Blade: 10" with a 3-3/4" swedge from top of hump to tip
Handle: 5-3/8" brownish green canvas micarta, slight flair makes it solid in hand
Sheath: kydex with Tek-Lok
Weight: over 1 pound, since it pegged my 16 oz kitchen scale
Price: SOLD!! $315 shipped CONUS, USPS money order only please

Not interested in trades just now... Please don't offer.
The first "I'll take it" email into my inbox gets it. :)
