After I have forged a billet of damascus I will complete several knives using stock removal methods so that I don't distort the pattern with further forging. However I save the small odd shaped cut-offs and forge them into knife shapes and come up with some very interesting pattern welds like this little knife.
Forged from 135 layers of 15N20 and 1084 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60
Flat grind
Stabilized figured walnut handle
Overall length: 8 1/4 inches
Blade: 3 3/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop
SOLD delivered within the US. My PayPal and email address is gldrewknives@gmail.com
