Here is my Billy Helton carry bowie/edc knife. I am the second owner and I purchased the knife from the original owner.

The blade is 6" to the cross guard, and the handle is 4.5" from behind the guard. Fancy file worked handle with a strip of handle material mated between the two handle strips. Anyways it is rock solid and pretty danged nice looking. Great temper line and a light acid etch on the blade to really bring out the temper line. The cross guard has a forge crack on the very end that you can feel but it doesn't go all the way through the guard. I think as I recall the steel is forged 1084.

The blade is exquisitely sharp and I kid you not and it is unused only admired. Maker made sheath to go with the knife. The keeper strap is nice secure fit but the sheath itself is a loose fit over the knife. Asking $175/BO. Keepem sharp and stay safe and I use USPS for shipping. PS this is an early knife from Helton Forge I do believe before he rec. his JS I would consider equal type trades. For instance and this is a long shot but would trade it for Okuma Catalina 25's line counter reels that are mint condition as the knife is.
