Once we get him, we have to make sure he isn't hiding any bombs anywhere. This has a 13 inch reach, 1/4 inch thick ATS-34. If it's in there, this will find it.

Grease it up good -- you don't want to get any dark spots on it, stainless though it may be.

nah, just need one about 5" spine-edge... nicely curved(kris style) to probe with... can't be too smooth for him.

I don't own one of the United Hibben fantasy knives, but have seen one several times when I went into one of the local cutlery shopps...it seems to be the knife in the shop that gets all the "ooohs and ahhhs" when non-knife people drop in and start looking around when I've been in there.
I could probably find out how much they go for, though I'm not into fantasy blades...right now I'm looking at an old 1998 knife catalog and a much less elaborate fantasy knife called the Hibben Raptor Fantasy Knife is listed as $147.95.

I think you were talking about the United Cutlery GH-2000 Hibben Griffyn. That's the cone shape four bladed fantasy knife that has to be carried around in an "imitation leather" storage pouch. I guess you could ram that in and twist it a couple of times... 
But, with Jim's knife you can perform heart surgery at the same time.
