Hello to all,
Today I have a new puukko for sale featuring a birch bark handle and a polished, progressively tempered blade.
Specs:
Blade is hand-forged from Bohler 510 tool steel, edge hardness HRC 58 (tested before progressive tempering), polished, with a slight drop point profile, 3.8" x .750" x .159" at the ricasso.
Handle is 4.15" stacked and compressed birch bark with polished nickel silver fittings. The tang is peened over the pommel and ground flush.
Sheath is a beautiful dark brown colour, hand made from veg tanned cowhide, with a water resistant finish.
Price is $350, shipping included. Post "I'll take it" below and then PM me for arrangements.
