Hello Folks, I have just finished this little Bird and Trout in some very cool Box elder. It is finely finished but is made to be used. It is also Man jewelry for the hip. I hope you like what you see.
I am discounting this knife because the scales do not match as well as they could or should. Otherwise this really is a Great little knife.
Blade is CPM154 .101 thick and 3 in. from tip to bolsters. O/A is 7.187. Heat treated with cryo and double tempered to 60-61 RC. Worked to a polish and hand rubbed to 2000 grit.
Bolsters are 416 stainless.
Handle is Dyed and stabilized Box Elder from K&G with stainless pins and lanyard hole. Liners are thin black fiber.
Sheath is 8-9 ounce hand tooled and hand stitched leather. I use the Loveless cam idea. The cam is made from sole leather for longer life and the knife fits nice and tight yet is easy to withdraw.
