Hey Guys and Gals,
Up for grabs is this Bird and trout (can also be used as a paring knife) knife that I have had laying around for a while. This one is my personal favorite to date and I hope you guys like it as much as I do. This blade was originally designed to be a steak knife, but I don't think this guy would like to be cutting on ceramic plates to be honest ;) For this Blade, I used some Snakewood that has been drying for several months and that is held in place with some West Systems G-Flex epoxy and all stainless hardware. The Sheath that comes with this knife is made of 6-7 oz leather from Tandy Leather and had been dyed dark brown with an oil based dye. It has been treated with Neatsfoot oil. The sheath itself has been wet formed around the blade so the blade slips in to place tightly and is held secure until you pull it out. It fits on a standard 1.5" belt just fine. Here are some more specifications regarding materials and finished.

Blade steel- 1/8" 1084 from NJ Steel Baron
Blade finish- Hand sanded to a 400 grit sating finish
Edge thickness- Around .015"
Hardness- Around 56-57 RC (soft enough for easy touch ups, but still takes a keen edge).
Blade length- 3 1/4"
Handle length- 3 7/8"
Grind- Full Flat grind
Hardware- 1/8" pin and 1/4" lanyard tube (stainless).

Price is $160 Shipped Priority Mail

Thanks for looking! First to say "I'll Take it" Gets it!!
