Hey there everybody! Here’s two new handy little knives I just finished up. Hope you like ‘em! I’m putting them up together in case someone wants a fine pair of steak knives. With that in mind I haven’t made any sheaths yet. I’ll add folded sheaths as an option for use in the field.
Steel is 1/8” x 13/16” in 8670 with heat treat recipe for 60/61. Hand sanded to 600 grit for a satin finish. The edge was around .012” before sharpening , they balance just between the front pins.
Dimensions: 8/78” OAL, Tip to Scales 4 7/16”
Second knife is 9" OAL and Tip to Scales 4 7/16"
Walnut scales make up the handle, accented with black and turquoise G10 liners. Secured with brass/copper tubes and mosaic pins. The handle is finished to 1200 grit, oiled and waxed.
The slender handle feels great in my average sized hand.
Knives are $140 each or $160 with a folded sheath
Both for $260 or $300 with two folded sheaths
And of course your satisfaction is my only priority. Paypal, check or MO, and the price includes fees and free shipping in the US.
Thanks so much for looking and please feel free to ask anything here or via PM.
