I like this thread a lot. Bird & Trout can be viewed in many ways, but I see it as a lightweight thin bladed prep knife that you can take with you anywhere. Also, it should look good!
Will, I agree and a goodlooking knife also often perform its duty's well.
It's impossible not to like a Phil Wilson knife and I hope to get one someday.
In the meantime I use what I have.
The Juni in boning & filleting.
