I have been super busy lately filling orders but I found time for this little guy. It's from 1/8" 1095. It is flat ground with a convex edge. The blade is 3 3/4". Handle is 4 1/8" with black linen Micarta held on with G-flex epoxy and 2 brass pins. I tapered the tang for an excellent balance. I had intended on polishing this blade to show the hamon but my brother in law just got a cabinet sandblaster so we bead-blasted it to see what would happen. The blade is bead-blasted. It looks awesome! It seems to be a very durable finish. I sandblasted my own blade before doing this one and have been using it daily as always, building fires, batoning wood, cutting rope, cardboard etc and it's held up very well! I expect the same from this one.
