I guess I had a good day , finally finished 2 knives . This bird & trout in carmel linen micarta was one of them .

Steel is 5/32 ATS-34 , peter's H.T to a 59-60 Rc.
O.A.L is 8-1/4", the sharpened edge is 3" and blade to handle is 3-1/2"
Flat ground , hand sanded satin finish . The grind on this blade was taken up past the spline to thin it down .
Carmel linen micarta with 3 brass pins
Sheath is 5-6 oz veg tanned leather wet formed , dyed and oiled .

Thanks Jack.....do you think you could also include some Band-Aids with this one. Knowing how sharp your blades are and anticipating using this a lot I foresee the need for them in my future! This looks like it will be excellent for capping and delicate work.

Paper towels and electrical tape works great . Don't ask how I know :eek: :D
 
Picked this one up at my office today. As I thought this is the perfect bird and trout knife. The blades is thin enough for delicate work, stout enough to tackle larger jobs, and the handle fits my large hands great. As always, Jack's fit and finish are excellent and scary sharp. Thank's again Jack!
