Hey guys, I bought this one last week from Ikedoc. It's nice, but I've come into another pile of knives I need to fund, so this one needs a new home. BBSHSH, or Bird's Beak Straight Handle Steel Heart. In totally mint condition with original sheath. This is a "fatty" at .302 blade stock at the spine. It weighs in at 1lb, 3.9oz, has the smooth bolts, and comes with the original Eagle sheath.
For those of you who don't know, the BBSHSH came after the original SH1 with the humped spine, but before the SHSHII. The BBSHSH was actually the original SHII, which was later changed to have a slightly different blade profile and the round pommel end.
The blade length is 7 3/4". Overall length is 13 1/8". Blade steel is A2 like all the BBSHSH. Made in mid-'90s, the smooth bolts marks it as an early one. It just feels awesome in the hand, and has great balance. Asking $1050 shipped insured, credit cards accepted. U.S. Only.
