A nice young man in a brown truck recently left a package on my doorstep. Inside was a bouncing baby Busse Basic #5 which I have adopted and named Eugene. (I am assuming that Eugene is a boy, but I am not sure where the distinguishing parts are located.) Because Eugene will one day want to know where he came from and why he's not like the other knives, I'd like to ask Jerry or Andy a favor. If you get some time, walk us through the steps it took for little Eugene to become what he is. I'm not asking for trade secrets (he knows he's made of modified INFI and we just leave it at that) and we can skip through the formation of the earth and elements and begin when the steel arrives from the factory. Now listen up Eugene, Uncle Jerry's gonna tell a story.........
