Well I turned another year wiser today, my wife says I'm 38 but I think I'm a good few years younger than that !:o

Anyways I knew that the lovely Mrs Pit had bought me a Swamprat Chopweiler from a great guy by the name of Kirk over on the Scrapyard forum so as soon as I got in from work I set about opening my pressie....well actually Maisy set about opening it as she always does !

And before I knew it, there it was my new tough-as-nails Survival knife....

But wait that was not all that was in the package, not only had Kirk sold me a Chopweiler for the same as he had paid for it but he had thrown this great little matching SwampWarden in as well !!!!

How nice is that, I was gobsmacked for once in my life !!!!

I think my knife collection is finally complete..........but don't tell Mrs Pit, just in case it's not !;)

That's a damn cool set of steel, what's the blade length on the chopper? I'm normally not that into the SR stuff, but I like that one a lot.

7 1/2" blade ! I know from what others have said that they chop well but it also feels like you could use it for smaller tasks especially when you choke up on it......I'll be able to say more when I get chance to test drive it !!!

Not too late, whew!!!! Happy Birthday, pitdog.

That reminds me, you never did tell me whether Mrs. Pit has a sister living in Ontario that likes bald, old geezers.

Happy Birthday mate. Thats a nice set you have there, it should cover all your outdoor cutting needs. Enjoy.
