Got bit by my SY SOD! was busy cleaving a beer can in half (what? does'nt everyone do this? :) , hit the tip of my index finger behind the nail. small cut but straight to the bone. :D

little bit of pressure, a glob of suture glue and good to go. Man it hurts though, finger is throbbing.

edit. ok i may be missing part of the nail and the nail bed....no wonder its hurting so bad.....ahhahahaha

This too shall pass and a lesson learned.... Let someone else hold the can when you cut it lol..
 
The most important question is, was the can empty or full:D And, did you manage a clean cut through the can:p

Told you you needed to sharpen that SOD, your finger should not be attached.

For future referance, which you may have done and not mentioned. It's REALLY important to clean the wound well before putting supper glue on it. Seals in bacteria and you can get a nice infection very easily. If it gets infected don't hesitate to go to the doctor, it's something that wont get better on its own if it's glued up. You'll need antibiotics.

Got some new belts to reprofile that bowie. Probibly going to end up with a thread of my own like this within the week...
 
^ yea rub it in Bro! :D i WAS putting a new edge on the SOD, had to test it out a few times.....

I ALWAYS swing a blade a tad to the LEFT, of course i should have adjusted where the can was....LMAO! :foot::D:p:p

If any of your guys are still in your college days or still shotgun beers youll relate. One two seperate drunken occasions i have tryed to make the whole and put the knife clean through with the tip into my palm. Still drank it though... alittle blood in the beer is god for you
 
Jezz bushman, reminds me of the bite the old Ka-bar gave me, and yes, scars on the hand make you look cool.:D

last time i sutured myself my doctor got seriously mad, after she calmed down she said I did fine job but that i really should have just used a butterfly closure....
