Well, it's your fault, I got BIT by the BUG!

I'm sweaty, feverish, is there no antidote?! Yipes...

Thats a very nice collection bro! Love those knives. I too have been bitten recently...i have three new blades on the way!! :)
 
shi- I thought this was going to be another bloody Izula thread...

Man this seems to be going around...I now have two in my possession with a third on the way this week plus an AH1 :D
 
Wow those look great! I just was recently bitten as well and went with an OD Izula and a DT 4 :D

yeah been bitten too - my bite is still a small one though since i only have the izula... but i'm gonna pull the trigger on the ESEE-5 soon. thats indeed a nice little collection you've got there - but do you really use those knifes apart from that izula?
 
i hear ya, i ordered the 3 just to see what the esee knives were all about now i got a 4 and a 6 is on the way. and i got my 3 in the first week of feb.
 
Must be contagious. I bought 4 within a month. One at a time. The first one was barely here before I was ordering another. Waiting (like everyone else) for a Junglas next! Can't wait
 
still feverish, may need a lite machete...ohh and dude, you know I don't buy knives because I NEED them!
But yeah I use the 3 alot and the 4 & 6 sometimes and of course the Izula(s), I have 2. I have not used the 5 yet. I like it. It's a big beefy heavy blade, good for some camping out which I generally don't do in the winter.
 
i see - actually i didnt say need them but use them (i don't see a scenario where you would need all those knifes - maybe if you would have to staff a platoon... ;))
i'm just interested in how well the coating holds up on a knife like the 5 because i figure the forces this knife will have to endure are quite different from what my/ your izula ever will...
but i realize that there are a lot of people on here who just possess and don't need or use their knifes at all - no problem with that (understanding it... that's a different thing)
 
Buy a couple Junglas's, it will ease the pain for a while (until you clear the trees on your property).

The only way to cure this bug is to immediately send all of your blades to me for a complete cold turkey on ESEE blades!! PM me for my addy!
 
I' reconciled, it's incurable, i'll just have to live with the fever !

As for finishes, there are lots of people here who can answer that better than me. Do a search, something should turn up.
