This listing is for some really bizarre looking spalted scales. They have been stabilized with Resinol 90C using a Dry Vacuum Pressure Injection System and heat cured for maximum durability.
The first two sets in the photos are some excellent spalted maple burl with compact burl figure that will look dramatic on any size knife. The last two sets are spalted Madrone burl that was quartersawn to give the 3 dimensional stripes with unusual coloring. The photos show the wood lightly misted with water to give you an idea how it will look finished. There may be a couple small voids that will most likely be trimmed away when you shape your handle.
In the photos that show all four sets the #s go from left to right. I also took a couple close up photos to show the 2 maple sets together and then the 2 madrone sets together. You can't go wrong with any of these.
