BK-14 Eskabar (a four year journey of excellence and versatility)

Nice post, good read.

I have been eyeballing the bk24 for a little while but would like to handle one first to see if I like it. Having read your post and your admiration for the bk14 makes me wonder if my edc folder is inferior and I need to get my paws on a bk24 sooner then later.

Coldone;

I have a 24. Used to use a small EDC folder. The confidence of that small fixed blade not breaking with hard use and the fact it can stay in your pocket easily makes it a winner in my mind. I recommend putting handles on it; the factory plastic ones are cheap and really make it comfortable to use, you get a black and orange set in the package to choose from. I also added a custom taco style kydex sheath from azwelke; the factory sheath is a quite good design idea but the execution of the retention fit didn't seem adequate to me.

Nice work man, great use of an old lifting belt (its moved on to supporting a new kind of power :D ) Looks super comfy too. :thumbup:

Haha, yeah! Thanks a lot, its very comfy IMO. solid feel and good grip.
