BK 14 Murder Weapon on NCIS tonight.

Not sure if this is a good thing or not but on tonight's NCIS, a paracord wrapped BK 14 was the murder weapon. Anyone else see this episode?
 
Yes, I saw it. I had my nose in my tablet nit really paying attention but my ears perked up when I heard Abby say "Kabar Becker Escabar" and I made my wife back it up so I could watch it again, lol.

just came on to post about this and im glad im not the only one who saw this. I liked the scene of tony attacking the cardboard mcgee
 
Maybe we could have a 'Death by Becker' running total. NCIS a great show, a lot less farfetched than CSI (but still unrealistic), but come on...How out of date is Abby's look now? I mean when was the last time you commonly saw a Goth/Emo? At least in the UK that is.
 
So why not use something really menacing for a murder weapon like a 7 or 9 or a 4?

Yeah, imagine the viewer shock value of Abby holing up a 4 and decribing its effect on the victim!

The only time you see Goths now are on South Park reruns
 
I saw it and immediately told my wife "I have one of those", even though mine isn't wrapped.

Earlier in the episode when the Marine is stabbed I thought it might be a blunt folder like the ZT's that the show uses. At least this time we don't have to speculate what the knife is, they tell us exactly what it is. I don't know if I've ever seen a show be so specific.

Anytime CBS wants to put BKT knives on tv, they got my blessing.

I wish I had given Abby that knife......and something of smaller length but more ferocious....

Likes me some Abby.....

Yea but that looks like a BK11 tho right? Hard to tell so much paracord...

So your nickname for the BK14 is Abby? I'm confused... Oh well, back to sniffing paint.
 
Ka-Bar posted this on Facebook and it was mentioned on the show that it was a "Ka-Bar Eskabar".

They also briefly showed a USMC Fighting Knife at one point as well.

Pretty cool!
 
Saw that episode. What did they say in describing the knife? They were paracord wrapped and sold to contractors, or something like that. Well, I bought mine off the internet...wasn't wrapped either.
