I'm kinda there... my acquisition is slowing down and I'm planning on how to use what I have. Machax and BK16 aside, of course. But one knife for a year honestly doesn't sound like much fun, unless it just 'grabs' me as The One.
 
Life's too short to only play with one knife. I love my machaxen but the 10. and 1. and 6. ah screw it I love them all, the only ones I don't use are the 3 and 7.

I for one commend you!! I think it's an awesome idea. Sure there are alot of knives out there for us to mess around with, but just imagine the supreme appreciation for that knife after the year is up! The Campanion being your only companion...I love it!!! Happy trails.

love this idea as well. :) i kind of started doing this only mine is shorter (6 months) and i'm doing a favorite knife a month. cuz i can't play with just one. :P have fun!
