I think more of us, myself included should try this. Pick a knife or other tool we think would be really good and use it for longer than a weekend, before moving on to more product testing.

I'm kinda there... my acquisition is slowing down and I'm planning on how to use what I have. Machax and BK16 aside, of course. But one knife for a year honestly doesn't sound like much fun, unless it just 'grabs' me as The One.

I for one commend you!! I think it's an awesome idea. Sure there are alot of knives out there for us to mess around with, but just imagine the supreme appreciation for that knife after the year is up! The Campanion being your only companion...I love it!!! Happy trails.

love this idea as well. i kind of started doing this only mine is shorter (6 months) and i'm doing a favorite knife a month. cuz i can't play with just one. have fun!
