BK 20 vs BK 29

I searched BK 20 vs BK 29, got no results

So here it is.

Gotz me a hangerin' for another big Becker to compete with my 9

What are the Tech specs on the BK 20? The 29 is on the Ka Bar site

Are they the same length? weight?

What blade do you like better, pros and cons between the two ?

I dont know why Im asking cause all I can get is the BK29

The performance difference is in the hand of the user with these two. Pick the one you like the looks of, personally I like the looks of my BK29 better.

29 looks shorter in one pic and same length in the other pic as the 20

I don't have either knife quite yet, but here is a thread that @91bravo posted awhile back. He does a good comparison between the two.

There are a couple comparison threads around. Seems the 29 is a hair wider and 1/4 or 1/2 inch shorter, with more personality at the tip.
I like the reduced guard on the 29, but prefer the look of the 20.
20 fulfills all my large knife needs, but I've never tried the 29.

There really isn't a difference when it comes to performance, the blade being slightly shorter seems to be offset by it being a little taller, making the weight nearly the same and the overall chopping power around the same. The only difference I have seen in use is that the sweet spot is slightly farther forward on the BK20 than on the 29.

If you buy the 29 I doubt you'll be in want of anything else of similar size, so don't worry about it.
