Are these the correct spec for a Kabar Becker BK4?
BK9 is 1.05 lb,,,, so is the BK 4 alittle lighter weight than the BK9 and alittle thicker stock?

Both the bk9 and bk4 are going to be .188" thick from kabar.

The specs can be mixed up sometimes because the camillus versions were different. The bk9 was .21" and the bk4 was .25"

I'm actually alittle exited about what it feel like to use since Ive never handled one.

The price dropped 10 bucks on new ones that venders have left since I was looking at them a few months ago. To my door for less than 60
I bought one, then sold it, as I felt it was a bit small. I later got another, and was not disappointed. It's a lot of fun to use. Here's my 1st time using it: http://www.bladeforums.com/threads/fun-weekend-with-the-bk4-photo-heavy.1223343/

Dang it! After finding my other knives fill roles most Beckers do I found one type I didn't have yet, and with a great thumping and whumping hilt so I had to get it! Its all your fault! Well Ordered so far.

Looks like it will fill a good roll. Hope I don't get another one like I did my BK 2/22.

Looks like a great tool at a great price! Twas that nice solid hilt besides good handle that was the deciding factor for me. Oh Price to!

Congrats JD I finally got a 4 when when I picked up my 20 last year.

Warrior great pics! I need to find a place to get out more.
Thanks man. We love it there. Haven't been there for over a month now.

You will enjoy the 4!! It's a great knife. I use mine at the cabin a lot for yardwork as a half assed matchet / sickle and for firewood to make kindling. I've hit so many rocks and hidden metal in the weeds and brush around camp and it really is a tough knife. Gets a few dings in the edge but very minor and they are easy to sharpen out as there very small. Good Heat treat on BK's!

This is a sweet pair to keep together!!!!

The BK4 is a great knife to have in the great outdoors - one heck of a woodsman's tool.
