BK 4 specs

As much as I love my 9 the 4 gets more use and carry at my 10 acres up north in the Cariboo

Less effort for limbing and trail clearing, better for small springy stuff, plus it is a great rough draw knife and for baton in kindling
 
Got mine, seems a bit light, but seemingly things can be a bit deceiving I find. It should work well by itself or part of a tool option load out.

I know what you mean that seems the norm reaction smaller lighter , but I think you will like it I know I sure do . It's nice to travel light and have a knife that can do most everything you need :D
 
My Bk4 gets carried more and outworks every Bk I have for most jobs. Then its my 9 and RSK. But I use them out of guilt because they start whining like little puppies and I take them out to play. But my big dog 4 is still the Alpha male.

It has a great balance to it. Seems it should feel heavier. Watch some YouTube vids with Ethan explaining the design. The snap cut is really where it's at for smaller stuff and the BK4. Seems B Brad "the butcher" has it figured out.
