BK-5 and Friends

I used my BK-5 for all food preperation this weekend while taking the son out for some shooting and dirt time. The 5 impresses me more and more each time i use it. Everyone needs one.
 
You guys and your 5's...whimper...how am I supposed to save up for sheaths from Nick, AND a 5? It just ain't right tormenting me like that...I might have to sell a gun to feed the knife fetish...

I feel OK bragging heavily on the "five" because somebody else designed the blade......AND......Not just ANYBODY else but Jerry Fisk for god's sake !!!!!......If you want to know why the ABS and Guild guys are important check this knife out......This blade is REALLY fast.......And the balance is absolutely superb.....High speed, NO drag......Watching the face of a serious martial arts guy with a doctorate in knife pick one up and start dancing is really a lot of fun to watch.....Is it a pocket axe----Noooo.....is it a pry bar.....Noooo.....does it get the job done????...You betcha......

If you have the funds and you are a knife nut you really ought to take one for a spin......It is a real eye opener to a different knife galaxy......Every time I pick up a different Fisk, I learn something and sometimes it is important......Dammit I just said nice things about Bro Fisk......I can only hope he will forgive me......
