After whaiting 40 days it finally arrived. Its a beast and my new friend. I hope we have a good time together and explore ever more.

The BK 7 fits right into your collection now you have big medium and lots of smaller knives. The Becker knives are good carbon knives. Maybe you could make a slimmer handle for the knife and test that. I once wraped a cmpanion in T10 para cord and it made the knife easier to handle.

I modified mine by using a round file to carve the grooves in the handle..looks like water buffalo design.

That grip is way cool and personal.
Try to remove the scales and wrap the stel like Strider wrap their knives. On the Strider site you can see how to do this if you do not know how.

Just took mine out today and put a beating on it. Absolutely no damage and still sharp. I love my BK-7. I use it and my Ratweiler for chopping things. It is half the thickness and weight of the Ratweiler but it performs flawless. I picked mine up on ebay for I think $42 shipped. I would like to see a knife in it's price range that can hang with it.
