  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

BK-7 or BK-9

I vote you start with the 9, mainly cause it's the only one of the two that I've used. See if you need a 7 after that. I think it's easier to use a bigger knife to do the task for a smaller knife than it is to try to do the task for a large knife with a smaller one. Plus, it's a KNOIFE, if you know what I mean. Or go 7 + machax. You got all kinds of options.

The 7 seems to be a bit more of a fighter and designed to bridge the gap between the 2 and 9. I wish the 7 came with the point of the 9 rather than the clip point and since I havent actually used either I wont pick one buuut if I had to pick one as a chopper is would definetly be the 9.

I have the BK9, and I love it. I have never used the BK7, but I can imagine what it's like as a chopper...so, what I suggest is getting a blade that fits your budget/persona/anything. If you can't afford both, let me know I might be willing to loan my BK9 out for a trial.
