BK-7 or Team Gemini Light Brigade?

If it wasn't for the coverage the TGLB got on The Walking Dead thanks to Daryl Dixon, I wouldn't know a thing about it.

FYI: Daryl Dixon carries an original Team Gemini, not the later Light Brigade.

I have a team gemini and love it (The original), but I would go with a GSO survive! 7/7. They are awesome knives in a great steel, either CPM 20CV or CPM 3V. The knives aren't being made yet again but will be in a couple of months, or you could search in here or Ebay for a one, but the first batch only came in 3V

I completely agree with this. CPM 3V is one of my favorite outdoor steels and a GSO 7/7 is much more convenient than a TGLB for general outdoor and bushcraft work. I also recommend looking at Fehrman Knives, makes almost strictly full flat ground CPM 3V full tang fixed blades.

Both great knives. Both will handle what you want them to do. Neither one is magical - just both quality blades.

I have Busses and Beckers and like both companies. You would be well served with either. You just have to decide if the Busse is worth the extra scratch. One great thing about Busses is you can beat the hell out of them and sell them for more that what you paid in most cases.

For the cost of the Busse, you could get a 5, 7, 10, and 16 AND have money left over for lunch. I actually want a TGLB, but there's something to be said for pragmatism.
