bk7,spec-ops sheath,mag block,ferro rod w/striker, mag shavings,whistle w/match heads inside,sak,led ,compass,sharpener, mini bic w/kydex sheath.Looking for more ideas ???:D

the head lamp from wal-mart "energizer brand" ,cheap and LED , cut head bands, head lamp has mounting holes in the battery compartment;ran para cord thru and lashed to sheath & head lamp has red light feature for saving night vision and lamp head tilts out also.

you should get a smaller sharpener like the gatco ones. Cut down on the bulk. I like the finish on the stuff.

Maybe a few bandaids.

you can tear ducktape in half lengthwise and wrap it around the top of the sheath between the top of the pouch and the top of the opening of the sheath.

Nice setup. I am thinking of getting a spec ops sheath. Maybe you can tell me, is there another belt loop besides the two slots at the top? It looks like it rides low. Thanks

I thought about yanking the belt straps off my Spec-Ops and just using one of the Molle loops as a belt loop. My biggest problem with any sheath is that I hate it when they have up and down movement when I draw the knife. Some people wear huge belts or just don't mind the movement. My knife has a blade thick enough to where the sheath really hugs it and when I draw it, the sheath jumps halfway up my body. I can't stand that. Also I would like it to ride a little higher. That sheath does ride a bit low. It's like these "tactical" thigh holsters everyone's into these days. Plus, I don't need the sheath to be stationary on the belt from sideways movement. I like to be able to slide it back out of the way when I'm not using it. That whole setup looks pretty awesome. I love the paintjob. I wouldn't personally do it but it looks awesome.

The molle on the back is also for attaching a thigh strap so it doesn't move when drawing the blade.

Skam

I've just never really been big on leg straps. I tried it again with this one and it just didn't feel right.

Ipurchased the BK7 camo painted /sheath from a BF member ,and just add the contents and this set up is in my truck,i will change the sharpener but this is all i had at the time.... thanks for the comments, yea i am looking for about2ft of blaze orange para cord for the handle of the knife.

That set-up looks great. Its certainly got that "lived-in" look, too.
You can sure tell that your BK7 is a user and not a so-called safe-queen.

Im glad it not just me that buys knives as Safe-queens.
So far I have a Kabar & CRKT Sting (and my BK9 hasnt seen much use!)
Most used is my Battle Rat & BK7

Awsome stuff, You know Bk7 is the Fav big blade I have. that is an awsome set-up, do you have any information on how long it took for the paint job?

Either way, it looks great.

I do not know much about the paint job, it had the paint scheme when I purchased the BK7 from a fellow member , about the sheath riding low ,if you'd like it to ride high or higher than normal fold the belt loops over and use para cord lash it thru the holes & braided it in the sheath holes for a high ride. But I love the spec-ops sheaths...I ordered a green one for one of my NWA knives as well.
