Bk-77's won't last much longer!

Still can't tell how/why it's a blem. Sure looks fine to me! And of course, it will be a user.:)

Hell yeah, OP!! That is a fine blade ain't it? Mine was pretty much perfect in mine eyes, but, eh, what do I know right?:D

I'm honestly still admiring mine. I will use it, but not yet, I like the pristine, clean look of all that S30V.:D:thumbup:

The tip of my 77's blade has banding/stripes on the left side, that's it. That and the fact I can't tell if the handles really are green canvas, they look beige/brown.

If there are knives available in a week, I may get another to be a user, whichever one has the more blemishes.
 
Placed my order for the BK77 Friday morning but on Monday morning, I was surprised to get a message from Linda that they are sold out that my CC will not be charged.
 
I think the title of this Thread is mis-leading.:grumpy:

I've had my BK-77 for quite awhile now ... and it's still here!:)
 
i'm honestly surprised there are any left. i hear tell they MOVED a LOT of steel there... made some $$$$. oh my yes. good job lads and ladies :)

now, i wonder what surprises that might bring ye? :)
 
I ordered another...I couldn't stand not having another chunk of that S30V steel. I'm a knife hoarder...better than a cat hoarder all I can say :barf:
 
I really hope they run out before my will power gives out and I order one... I can only hold out for a couple more days!
 
Mine came in today and I couldn't find anything wrong with it. Good knife. Buy it!!!

Linda reported (she thought) 5 to me this morning. After my call, that number became 4.
 
I thought of calling in but didn't feel the need,until today after Guyon says there's 4 left.I called asking if they had any left and got a unassuring response after explaining my situation with my previous order being cancelled :confused: , sold out.Then the guy taking my call says that a dealer purchased all the remaining stock and that they will be available in a few months.

Just not a positive experience at all but a real sour one.Being a resident, north of the 49th never have I had an experience like this with any other online retailer with stock but for some reason denied the sale. According to Ka-bar,"Shipping and Handling Policy", they only ship within the US and Canada.
 
I was considering buying one to put away and looked on kabar's website and saw they were $200, but the website didn't mention they were blems. Anyway their site rejected my card and I called in to order. The guy told me they were blems and after consideration the whole collector's item position I was going to take w/ my wife seemed to be moot so I cancelled. It would have been a great user, but I wasn't willing to take that much crap from my wife.
