BK-9 and ESEE Junglas pic request

I have the Junglas, and it is a great chopper. I've handled the BK9 some, and I do want one. If I owned neither, the Junglas would likely be the first I'd get of the two. Of course, I have better knives for chopping, and better machetes for machete work. They are both just knives that are cool, and we like them because of that. ;)

My GZilla I designed made ny pmoore fits my needs perfect CK

Knife/Chopper/Machete is what I need in my neck of the woods. Paul is an Awesome Hard Use Knife maker & I am blessed owning my 2.
GZilla is 1080, 1/4" think high flat ground for chopping weight & 3/8" tall convex, 10" of sharp past coil & long dropped handle for Heavy duty chopping.
A friend had told me he would like to see the junglas & GZilla go at it. I lobe the look of both of those blades. Not challenging, just love Using knives HARD;)

Hey Carny C good to see you around here,we go way back from my Survival Topics forum days. Hey you still got that P Moor T-Rex? That was a sweet blade!

I don't have the Becker or the Junglas. I love folks that love big knives. Foremost with a Big knive I prefer the ones that still can serve the purpose of a "knife". And of course large knife owner gets the knife for chopping. I can't outchop an axe, but by golly can out chop a Mora and some Hawks & hatchets & still clean a turkey with it.
The bigger the knife, the lower the IQ is the most lame excuse for not being able to maneuver large blades ;)
Again with GZilla, It would be completely senseless to buy another Large blade, but "If" I did, I would go with that Junglas. The high flat grind, 3/16" thick& what, a 10" blade, plus that slightly dropped longer handle. You talkin fast machete overkill!
The Junglas is what,approx $150-160?
Sheath looks like it's worth.$70
How much is the BK-9?

You have a good point, but you know me! I have been trying to talk you into getting a BK9 for a long time. It's been too long though, I haven't heard from you guys in a while!

When you.find what works best for you, you.better go with. When you find you have the best knife or combo, stick with it!

How did you do it? Did you draw out tha patern first then file? It looks amazing!!!

Just free hand with a dremel and a triangular shaped stone. I didn't draw the pattern out before hand. If you ever try to do this my advice is to start from the middle and work your way out to both ends. Micarta is really hard and you can't keep the grinder on it for too long otherwise it would leave burn marks. So you have to grind lightly for 2-3 seconds and then take it off to let it cool off a bit before you can start grinding again. That's why it took me so long.

Don't have a Bk9 but here's a Junglas I just finished modifying.

Awesome job bro;)
That 3/16" high flat grind has got to be a fast awesome chopper. You got the.lightness.& Speed.for machete work, but i bet that added weight from that high flat grind will.SINK that bad boy into some trees.Ok, I have saw pics on the net, y'all have gotta send.pics of the.Bk-9.&.Junglas .in action, getting DIRTY
