I'd imagine some RIT could make brown handles go green if that's what you want. I was hoping for coyote brown, but I'll take whatever it is and wear it out.
Wow, very cool. Didn't know that. I wonder if zytel would work the same as plastic? Not to mention they're starting out with a whitish key to begin with.Most plastics can be colored with RIT (weird but true, I know some guys that are REALLY into keyboards, and they dye the keys different colors with RIT if they're anything but black). It usually involves some amount of heat (like soaking the keys/scales in simmering dye), but its not that hard to do and is "permanent" just like it is on micarta. I could probably dig up the link sometime if people are interested.
You have to be careful of the heat though, because you could end up warping the scales if you're not careful.
