Hmm, have you made any daggers yet? I just made one with a wolf for a pommel/handle, and was struck by how much like a Becker handle it is. Grind a muzzle into the front part of the pommel of a Becker, and add some ears, and it will look quite canine. Then I thought, hmm, I wonder if Dubz has thought about doing a dagger. Whaddaya think?

Probably won't do a dagger. The idea was for "BK" style knives. Obviously, use the BK handle, add thumb ramps, etc. Knives that work for a living. I don't feel a dagger would fall into that category, although it would be kinda cool.

Haha, I thought that ulu was kinda cool. I got the idea for an ulu when I was looking at the pommel sticking out the end of the handle. I cut the handle in half, copied and pasted it, flipped it around, and joined it back up. Then I just drew the blade straight off the pommels. If you noticed, that handle has the same ends, complete with 2 lanyard holes.

The handle was actually the first thing I was looking at. I was wondering which way you were gonna take it. It looks awesome!!!

That's a good idea. We have one as well. My brother in law lives in Alaska, and sent it to us. Makes a good dust collector pretty much. The wife does use it on occasion.

Was actually thinking of having one made, or giving it a go myself. I may try to find a local knife maker.

That ULU is just pure badassery. From kitchen to field use to self defense in a friggin heartbeat. LOVE the handle. I might sharpen up the 2 outside edges a little to help out in the self defense roll.

I bought one when I was 15 or 16. It was just too cool not to get. I've hardly used it though. Every now and then I use it for some menial task but mostly it just collects dust. And before you ask, it's not for sale.

I think it would be wicked cool it they did a 3/4 version. And a Becker version would be one bad mofo.
