BK&T Companion

I know this topic was brought up in another area, but what is the story on the blade length of the Companion? Mine is 5 1/8" and that was the length listed in the catalog that I ordered it from although everywhere else it is listed as 5 1/4". The tip was ground kind of funny (1/8+ on the left and -1/16 on the right and a slight burn mark on the left) Despite this I love the knife but would love one at about 6.5"-7.0" even more.

I have to agree about loving the Campanion. I just ordered a second which I plan to remove the factory handles and cord-wrap to make it a slightly more compact knife.

I, too, would LOVE a version with an extra couple inches on it. Overall, I think it's the best knives for the money in its class.
