I don't think it looks like a BK9 at all. I would love a Becker with a 1/4" S30V and a 8-9 inch blade.
I think you are on to something, good job.
I would buy it all the way up there in price, and it would be awesome.

Did away with the recurve. Not as sexy perhaps, but looks like a chopping machine.

not bad. bit more rounded bolo end, ditch the swedges. imho. they have no place on a chopper, full height grinds.
