BK10: Getting one... Is there a way to?

There is such a thing as a search function. Also reading recent threads. You should give it a try.

The answer is no. It is not in production, and will not be in production again. You may see one on the exchange or on popular auction sites though.

crowbar and ski mask is about the only way that i can think of.

What BRL said here:

is actually the preferred method of obtaining a BK10. It gives it more of a backstory, and truly makes it unique.

Nope. And really doubt we will ever see them again. Its business. They had a limited edition of 160ish knives. If they sold out in a week, well then Kabar may have said we better keep making these. Since it took months to sell basically what it takes other companies sprints to sell in a few hours, they see little demand for a reinstatement.

Oh, one of these old things....

Nope they're gone :D

You don't want one, they just get in the way of the real toys.

Watch EE and the bay, they'll pop up here and there. Be prepared to fight for it, though. I prefer cage matches to determine the winner...some just want highest dollar.

They show up from time to time on the exchange. I picked up another Camillus version two weeks ago there for a buddy.

Oh, almost forgot! If you live in the right climate, they also grow in the forest. They're protected by gnomes, but they can be easily bribed with tea. Whatever route you take to acquire a BK10 good luck!

is the bk10 still in production, or planned for future production?

No, if you weren't in the in-crowd then you are out of luck. You can wait until someone decides to sell one at a profit, much like the special runs of Spydercos and such that sell on the sales forum for twice their original price.

There are plenty of other Beckers still in production if you can find someone that will sell one to you.

I wasn't anywhere near being in the in crowd, and I got one. Ka-Bar posted it up on their Facebook page and I'd seen it around a few other places.

it's just going to cost $$$ to get one

Hmmmmm.....

For some strange reason, I think there will be one up for sale in the Exchange this evening.

Hmm, I think is BK 10 hunting season for me.... Or not, I'll wait until summer, damn I hate being broke!

Harsh dude. I agree with you, but still...cold blooded.

I've been a mod on other forums. Refusing to use a perfectly good search function, or Google, for that matter, is selfish, disrespectful to the rest of the community, and a pet peeve for me. This isn't the first time it's happened (even with certain specific users in certain specific subforums), it won't be the last time, and you'll notice I still answer the question. But I'm absolutely gonna call people out for it, just as I'd expect you all to call me out if I'm being a jerk. That happens too, unfortunately.

The 10 is my favorite Becker to date, at least until that Haze 9 returns to me...

Stonewashed finish is one of my favorites. I just wish I'd been enough in the in crowd to have purchased one back when they were as inexpensive as most standard Beckers. Now, they're all gone, so value is likely to increase.
