BK10 vs BK2

do you think the BK2 acts like a much bigger knife due to its weight and thickness in terms of chopping and stuff like that?

no, it acts like a *slightly* bigger (longer) knife due to it's weight.
It's a great splitting wedge. It takes that fantastic ka-bar edge... and it will drag your pants to your ankles (because of the weight... just in case that wasn't clear).

If you want a chopper, get a long blade. You get a lot more speed out of a long blade. Recall an axe has all the weight out at the end of a looong lever arm. The 2 is close to the hand. Now if you're going to be bashing it through man-made stuff, go #2 all the way. But in the woods it's overkill for the length.

No. The 2 will surprise you with how small it actually is if you haven't handled one before.

I find that if you want a knife to act like a longer knife, then what your looking for is a wider/taller blade, not necessarily thicker.

And PS, the Mora 511 is a knife a can't be beaten at a regularly available $8 USD.

This. The Ka-Bar warthog is a good example.
