bk11/14 temporary slip on scale idea

I like the way you are thinking with the easy on/off handle. I still think screws are the way to go. I can take mine off or put them on in about a minute and if you use the right screw it could be done with a dime or other small coin. I will keep thinking about it might come up with something new.

Yea ill be doing some more with this next week, gotta get the instamorph and see how it plays out. i might end up needing to use wood and screws for retention just to keep it more stable, but i really like the idea of slide on and off, its quik and as a neck knife (how i carry it) scales are too bulky...... i think if i mold a handle in plastic it might work, but it might not lol

more to come in time im just a poor bastard....feel free to share your ideas or borrow mine. if you figure out something better that works by all means send it to me, lmao

^ im not eating after you lol. any ideas on slip on off scales? i know you make some nice 11 wood scales so maybe you have an opinion in this.

How about a nice set of vice grips? Kidding. So far every thing I have came up with is not very practical.

You just want to make the handle longer & a little thicker right ? What are you going to do with it when its not on the knife ? I like the custom wood thing made longer & thicker. Get both halfs to slide on & off right one at a time then epoxy them together. One handle, slide on slide off. Does that help any ? Or am I just way off again.
