Thank you for your story and pictures.

I'm new here and have a BK14. I keep looking at all you guys custom work (jimping) but don't have the nerve to do anything yet!

Try on some scrap steel first. I found a length of steel bar maybe 3mm thick and its what I use to try new jimping techniques.

Just do it.... give it zero thought and just start grinding away.... Grab a bottle of whiskey and an angle grinder and jimp that sucker like it called your mama a bad name.... damn the torpedoes...

lol Sorry, just wanted to give someone some shaky advice cause its fun... honestly 99% of my projects are that way... I just start doing them and end up somewhere... but yah measure twice cut once and all that stuff.... good luck.
