These scales are not your average slim, svelte scales that are mostly an adornment. These scales are 1/4" thick per side with all edges rounded and smoothed for a comfortable grip during hard and or prolonged use. These scales use my exclusive dowelock system which lock the scales in place and make them virtualy unmovable as long as the screws are secure. The included hardware has rounded heads, also contributing to the overall smoothness of this package. The grips are maximized in lenght by being countoured to your factory sheath at the front and extending full lenght to the rear while leaving your coveted bottle opener exposed. Hand rubbed with Tung oil these scales age gracefully and take on a traditional, classic look. $20 shipped in the USA. + $5 shipping for international. Great handles!
I installed mine as soon as I got them. The fit is perfect, it seats properly in the factory sheath and the bottle opener works as well.
It's also much easier on the hand.
