It really comes down to blade shape, intended use, balance and feel in "your" hands. The 11 and 14 have the same blade, so between the two, it's a matter of balance and personal feel. Adding in scales/grips changes the balance and increases the variables. Toss in the other Ka-Bar skeletonized neck knives, the BK13/Remora, and the JAB Piggyback as choices, and I'd pick the Piggyback as the most comfortable in the hand, though the one I'd carry every day (if fixed blade concealed carry were legal where I live) would be the 14 (really the 24 when it comes out), then the Remora, then the 11, and finally the Piggyback. FWIW, I've been dealing with moving boxes this weekend, and both the Remora and Piggyback have been in my pockets since Friday, mostly to deal with sticky packing tape and snack breaks.
