BK11 or BK14?

Read clich's thread on the bk11 and I challenge you not to buy one afterwards.

wow, it tore through that tool box and was still sharp at the end, thats amazing. I am definately getting the 11 now. Kinda makes me wonder how my knives would handle if i put them to extremes like that
 
i agree, i would love to test it but i dont have any tool boxes at my disposal and i dont have the 14 either, i think it just proves that no matter which model it is, they can all handle whatever our sinister minds decide to put them through
 
I'm with Psyop on this one.
I vote for the 11.
I can get a nice, solid 3 finger grip on it.
I get a goofy 3 1/2 finger grip on the 14 that just doesn't feel natural.
I've given away a few 14's.

I like the 1095 a lot so I don't know if better is the the right word. I have always liked D2 I wish it was more common. I think if I could only have one it would be D2. Glad I don't have to make that choice. L6 would be cool also.
 
I have both the 11 and the 14. The 11 with the micarta grips wins hands down
 
I just got my 11 today. Now that I have both and have been able to hold both in my hand. I will definetly say its certainly preference because I have no clue what you pro-Neckers are talking about. I can get 4 fingers on the 14 and only 3 on my 11. The 14 feels better/fuller in the hand. I gave them both a cord wrap and snapped a few shots. The 11 does feel a little better if you leave enough cord to tie an overhand just below the bottle opener with enough room to get your pinky finger in there--gives you a little better grip...

Another one for the 11. Mine is my EDC. Had a 14 but didn't like the handle. Used my 11 to scrape a doe hide this season...
