I have both and will say this. They are both amazing and either choice will not steer you wrong. But take this into consideration. The sheath in my opinion on the Bk11 doesn't hold a candle to the Izula 2. The Izula 2 comes with a pocket clip now so you don't have to buy it extra. The Bk11 does not. The sheath retention is much more secure on the Izula 2. The handle scales on the Izula 2 are a nice feature especially if you have larger hands and are going to be using it alot. (less fatigue on you hands). If you want scales on your Becker you have to buy them extra. The Bk11 is not as comfortable in my hand because it doesn't have a big finger groove. Also Lifetime warranty on the Izula 2. I would go with the Esse. The best thing to do though is hold both in you hand and see what feels better for you personally. Either way you wont regret whichever you choose. Both companies build some of the best production working blades out there and seem to be in tune with what the end user really wants. hope this helps.
