BK15 has arrived! W/Factory Micarta

This just came in today form Tomar's. Love this knife! Fits my hand like a glove. The factory Micarta is very nice. This is going to make a perfect camp/hunt/food prep knife! Now to decide to strip or not...

That looks great! I'm loving my 15, and I'm sure you'll love yours too! I decided not to strip mine at first, but after a few weeks I couldn't resist the temptation anymore. I think it cuts a bit better now, too.

Yes it does. I just put kabar micarta on mine and it's a little bit more weighted in the hilt, which is what I prefer in a fighter.

Thats sexy with the Micarta! It screams for Leather, stripping and Patina. Thats what I'd do.

Plan on stripping. Food prep alone will add some well deserved patina. Every time I get a coated blade I like, it eventually gets stripped

I'm digging my micartafied BK-15 so much, I already know I'll be buying the micarta handles when I go back to Tomar's site in a few weeks to get my BK-16.

That Micarta does look very very nice! I just got my wife a 16, and I think she would really dig the micarta scales. I might just have to pick some up for her.

Been wanting a 15 since their debut but haven't quite done it, now with the micarta available it even harder to resist. Nice knife!
