Yep, I'd say you're used to small trees.

Even the trees in the background here aren't huge. Big enough to hide a squatch though. lol

Those are Tommythewho cocobolo scales.
I put some green liners between them and the knife rides in a NixKustoms leather dangler.
It's a really great set up.

Looks great. When I do my day hikes now, I have started to take knife pictures as part of the picture taking. I chuckle about that really as it never fails that I am intent on setting up a "knife picture" and another hiker strolls by and smiles.

I also have never been to Washington, or Oregon for that matter. Would love to visit sometime. I really enjoy the Appalachian mountain scenery and all the rocks, plants, and trees that are associated with the mountain chain.

I smell a Squatch, or maybe it's just a dirty old black bear...

I may have to check into a dangler sheath myself. I like those for outdoor use/knife carry.
